I finished the top to Quiltville's Grand Illusion Mystery! I chose to not go scrappy with this quilt and I also wanted to enlarge it a bit to be rectangular. I somehow had extra pink and blue half squares so I incorporated those into expanding a top and bottom border. I love the graphics of this quilt. I coudln't get away from adding purple somewhere, it's in the polka dot black print!

Congratulations on a great finish. I found you via the QV link up and was piqued when I saw Idaho. It's been years since I've seen you but was so glad you have a blog. I'll be following via bloglovin. My best to you and your family, Janet Dickson (Kamiah)
I love how you expanded it, great fabulous colors! Another winner :)

Wonderful end result.
It looks great!
Love the dots! Good job getting it to a flimsy. I added Purple too. I wish I'd switched the black for it now.
Great quilt! And I love your polka dots!

Nice effect!! I love the boldness of your colors, and they work perfectly together in the shimmery design. Great adaptation on the borders, too.
