Busy Life!
I have several things to show from the last month or more, but I am still short of computer time so I will just show a surprise gift I made for my friend Deb. I mentioned on my earlier retreat post that I made something else and couldn't show it, this is it. I cut and pieced this at the retreat and finally quilted it last weekend and mailed it Monday. Deb received it Tuesday and was thrilled to pieces! She had fallen in love with the version of this quilt I made last summer for my friend Lynda and I used my batik stash to make her one. I used Thermore batting to be lightweight since she can't have weight on her with breathing issues.

Looks amazing Julie! You certainly have mastered curves. And so nice for you to do that for Deb.

Great quilt - so glad you could make it for Deb. Hope you can slow down some and enjoy the summer break.

Yeah, pretty beautiful and awesome birthday present for me this year for sure. As usual, she did a knockout job of quilting. Cindy I don't know if she took closeups of the quilting but I can tell you it's just spectacular. I've been sleeping under it every night since I got it and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!

I would love to make this quilt, did you sue templates? Also, is there a pattern available. I love doing curves once I finished my first large drunkard's path it was a breeze.
